Since 2018, I’ve been exploring the world of pole fitness — blending strength, artistry, and self-expression into every spin and climb. My teaching journey actually began with preschool dance classes, where I first discovered the joy of helping others move with confidence and creativity.
Now, as a pole instructor, I bring that same playful energy to the studio. My classes focus on fitness and artistic flow, guiding students to discover what their bodies are truly capable of. More than just tricks and technique, I love empowering people to push past insecurities, celebrate their progress, and surprise themselves with every achievement.
Whether you’re stepping up to the pole for the very first time or looking to refine your artistry, I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way — because pole isn’t just about movement, it’s about confidence, strength, and joy.

Pole & Aerial Social Media Guru

Instructor - in training
I’ve been training aerials for a year and a half, and pole has become one of my greatest joys—giving me strength, confidence, and an incredible circle of strong women to grow with. Outside of the studio, I worked in PR for a year and bring that experience into my role as Sanctuary of Pole’s social media lead. I love ideation, community building, and crafting witty, meaningful captions—so if you see us online, that’s probably me haunting the feed

I'm LEO!! I've been poling since 2017 and though I took a two year break a couple years ago I always seem to find my way back to this amazing sport. Being a mature (older) poler I've found that there are many different struggles I've faced perfecting my craft but that's what has ALWAYS kept it interesting. When I found Pole I just wanted to do something different, something that would make me strong but not burn me out with the boredom of constant repetition like so many other programs and sports I've tried in the past. Little did I know what all this sport, this way of life, would change for me and how much of my life it would consume. I'm mostly known for strength tricks and elaborate combos but I love a sensual sexy slither on the floor or in a chair just as much as the next human. I love to help others find their niche in versatile sport & find so much joy in the celebration of those WINS for others so teaching just felt like the next step for my pole journey.

Ivy

Instructor - in training
My name is Kara, but my Pole Fam knows me as Twisted Ivy. I embarked on my pole dancing journey in August 2021, and since then, I’ve been an avid pole dancer for over four years, thoroughly enjoying every moment of it. The allure of pole dancing lies in its vibrant community, the profound self-exploration and self-expression it fosters, and the captivating art and beauty of its fitness style. Unlike the typical gym-goer, I sought a way to stay fit and find something I genuinely enjoyed, ensuring a genuine commitment. After my inaugural pole class, I knew this was my calling in so many ways. Sanctuary of Pole has been my sanctuary since its very inception. Thanks to Kilo, I get to pursue my passion and share it with others. She has been an invaluable mentor to me over these four years. I can’t envision my life without her or Sanctuary of Pole!
Teaching quickly became my passion when I first started dancing. I knew this was my future, and I’m determined to spread the love, joy, and magic of pole fitness. As a certified X-Pole Instructor, I have some teaching experience for levels Pole 1 and 2, as well as spin tricks. I relish floor work, low flow, and base work on the pole, as well as all the bendy, twirly, twisty beautiful tricks and spins that I can master. I can’t wait to meet you!

Domitrix
-
Instructor - in Training
Hi! I’m Dom(itrix), a pole instructor at Sanctuary of Pole, and I’ve been working on my pole skills since February 2024. Any class I teach will have an emphasis on confidence, creativity, safe progression, and self-expression. My goal is to help students feel strong in their bodies while finding their unique styles.
My favorite thing about pole is being able to see visible progress — whether it be more definition in my muscles or being able to nail a move after struggling with it for a while. Pole has taught me to trust my body, embrace growth over perfection, and show up unapologetically as myself — lessons I love passing on to my students.
When I’m not on the pole, you can find me at the gym, reading, crocheting, or playing video games.
